Krishnaarpanam, is a spectacular dance production in the Indian-classical dance style of Bharatanatyam. Featuring scenes from 'Krishnam Vande Jagad Gurum', the much acclaimed dance-drama from the early 90's in India, it is a beautiful narrative weaving together the most attractive lilas or playful pastimes from the life of Lord Shri Krishna.

With music direction by Carnatic maestro Vidwan Madurai N. Krishnan and dance choreography by Padmashri Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy, this production from the 90's has been revived and adapted with revised and new choreography for the dancers of Silambam-Sydney by Artistic-Director Aruna Gandhi (a senior disciple of Prof. Sudharani Raghupathy) .

'Krishnaarpanam' features around 20 talented dancers from our institution, who come alive in various character roles, with stunning colourful costumes, alongwith aesthetic lighting and stage decor at one of Sydney's premier venues - UNSW Science Theatre!

We welcome you to join us in this beautiful offering of music and dance...and to immerse yourself in an evening of soulful and captivating traditional Indian art.

'Natyamritam' is our annual dance concert, where all the student groups progressing through various levels of training showcase their learning in short and crisp performances. And since this year marks our 10th anniversary, we're looking forward to make it extra special and we welcome you to join us in celebrating our milestone!
