October 2018: Students of Silambam perform alongwith Aruna at Sargam Music Festival at Redgum Community Centre.

August-September 2018: Aruna is a Cultural-Co-ordinator of the Janmashtami Festival 2018 at Iskcon Sydney which featured of two-day event of music and dance performances by various groups. Students of Silambam performed thematic performances at this festival.

February 17, 2018: Carnival of the Bold Festival presents ‘The Dancing Peacock’ a collaborative performance featuring Bharatanatyam to a soundscape of Chinese music - by Aruna Gandhi and Nicholas Ng as part of Chindia Exhibition at 107 Redfern.

February 10, 2018: Silambam-Sydney presents its first 'Arangetram' - by students of Aruna Gandhi - Namrata Pulapaka, Thanuja Kuntumalla and Shishira Bindiganavile at UNSW Science Theatre.

November 2017: Silambam-Sydney showcases a performance by the students at the 8th anniversary event at Glenfield Public School Hall.

September 30th & October 1st, 2017: The Sydney Fringe Festival presents 'The Dreaming Damsel' by Aruna Gandhi alongwith musicians Sumathi Krishnan (Vocal), John Napier (Cello), Bala Shankar (Mridangam), Abhijit Dan (Tabla) and Thiviya Vignesh (Flute) at Erskineville Town Hall.

June 29, 2017: Diversity Arts Australia's 'Beyond Tick Boxes' symposium on cultural diversity in the arts, screens video interview with Aruna.

October 10, 2016 - March 24, 2017: 'Dancing my Dreams' creative movement workshops for women, facilitated by Aruna. The community arts project presented by SEVA International Inc., and Settlement Services International (SSI) won a community grant from Liverpool City Council. A showcase by participants was presented at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (Performance Space) on March 24th, 2017.

July 9, 2016: Students of Silambam-Sydney give a dance offering at Sri Jagannath Rath Yatra Festival in Liverpool.

June 2016: 'Dancing my Dreams' project wins a community grant from Liverpool City Council. The project to be facilitated by Aruna will include 'Creative Movement' dance workshops for women in Liverpool (Oct-Nov 2016, Feb-Mar 2017), leading up to a performance by the workshop participants in March 2017.  

May 16-27, 2016: Contemporary dancer Talitha Maslin trains with Aruna in the basics of Bharatanatyam. Aruna and Talitha also explore a cross-cultural dance exchange at Information and Cultural Exchange (ICE) Parramatta.

October 2015 - March 2016: 'I heart my Body' dance project to be facilitated by Aruna, featuring 'Creative Movement' workshops for women with varied abilities, culminating in a forum on the occasion of International Women's Day on March 5th, 2016. Project supported by 'Social Change through Creativity' grant from Fairfield City Council, CORECS and SEVA.

June 20, 2015: Launch of 'Celebrate Campbelltown' DVD, produced by The Wizard of Oz Funland. The DVD project featuring Aruna and dancers from various artistic styles, celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Campbelltown. The project won The Daily Telegraph - 'Champions of the West' Tourism Award. 

May 24, 2015: Bharatanatyam by Aruna and students of Silambam-Sydney in aid of 'Nepal Earthquake Relief', organised by SEWA Australia, at Bowman Hall, Blacktown.
